Hello,
Had a great trip to Longwood on Friday, unfortunately a little between times in the beds outside - bulbs were being taken out and nothing new in yet, but still impressive as always. It was a beautiful sunny day, so really enjoyable just to walk.
The Main conservatory had "Tarragona" on display, I had to ask the info desk, they were not tagged. Truly impressive. Is this an Orienpet?
I am just starting to add lilies to me perennial beds and don't want to start with one that may be a problem.
My questions are these:
Anyone have experience with growing these - I know Longwood can do anything, but can I? (zone 5)
A good source to buy them? I have been doing some searching for them from the recommended growers, but they seem to be scarce - maybe I am looking in the wrong place?
I see 'Concha d'Or' is close, but I still like Tarragona.
Thanks for any help !
