Trimmers devastated my lilies - is there any hope?

A *professional* company just finished trimming the hedges out front, and in front of one hedge, I have a bed of Asiatic lilies and Easter Lilies (not sure what those are...I just planted them after the Easter season and they are gorgeous when they bloom.). The deep red Asiatic are my first flowers to bloom in spring, usually mid May I think.

So I asked the guy, when I saw him STANDING IN THE BED, if he would be able to trim that hedge without hurting my flowers. Duh, he said 'are there flowers here?' I said yes, you're standing on them.

"I didn't know those were flowers." (SCREAM)

So he *promised* he wouldn't hurt them.

Most of them are sheared off at the top now, and those that aren't are either trampled or have no foliage left...just a stem. Picture attached of some of the devastation.

I am just SICK TO MY STOMACH. These were my favorite flowers of the year.

Is there any way I can help them, or is it just a lost cause for this year?

I could really just use a friendly word...I'm so devastated that I'm sick to my stomach.
