Can I transplant Tiger Lilies before they bloom? My friend gave me a bunch from her yard and I just realized they haven't bloomed yet.

You can, but they may not bloom for this year.

Follow up question: I'd like to remove the tiger lilies I have and either pass them on to someone who'd like them, or find a better spot for them on our property. I have no idea how long they've been there as they were planted by the previous owner. How far down do I have to dig to ensure that I grab the bulb and whatever roots have developed? By now there's a good foot of leaves from the bulbs...will they even survive???
