I found that the first year with a lily, it doesn't get as tall or bloom as much as they will when they get older. Last year was my first year with lilies, and it bloomed when it was maybe 3ft tall. This year, it's already pushing 4ft and still going. I think it gets up to five ft, and it may just do that before it blooms. Kinda shocking, as it is now getting taller than the hanging basket I put up above it, which makes the hanging basket look a little silly... ha. As far as how long the blooms last, a lot longer than one day. I can't remember how long mine lasted, but if you've ever bought a cut lily bloom from the florist, that'll give you an idea. I think that lasted at least a week in the vase. I'm not familiar with your lily, but that's my experience with mine. I'm guessing the other six plants just don't have buds yet, or they don't feel like blooming this year. But seeing as how they are taller, I'm guessing maybe those bulbs were more mature and it'll be taller before blooming. It's my guess though. I'm not a lily expert, as I'm kind of a newbie myself : ) Hope that helped.
