done blooming

I bought some potted lilies and planted them outside in some thick soil. They are done blooming. This is the 1st year, that they remained green and healthy looking. Do I need to trim them or do anything else special with them during the summer or early fall?

Just snip off the spent flowers to keep them from forming seed and using energy that could go to feeding the bulb. In the fall, after the stalks and leaves have yellowed cut them off at the ground. (some people like to leave an inch or so to mark where they are.)

I have also questioned what to do with my LA Hybrids. They are all done blooming. My question has been answered. Thanks so much!
