Which type of lilly am I looking for?

I have several lillies planted in my gardens, however, I know little about them. It seems that in the first two weeks of June I have very little blooming in my yard. However, I've noticed that some of my neighbors have a great display of lillis blooming now. The ones I have bloom a bit later...like the end of June. I'm looking for low growing (18-24") varieties that bloom in mid to late spring. Thanks for any suggestions.

The easiest thing would be to simply ask your neighbor what lily varieties they have that are currently blooming. Most likely asiatics or possibly martagons.

My asiatics have been blooming for the past 3 or 4 weeks and I'm in almost the same zone as you.
