After discarding bulbs w/TBV, do I sterilize soil somehow?

I am sure that a few of my asiatics have TBV....evidenced by color breaks on their petals and the stems/leaves are brown & nasty looking (maybe that is botrytis?) The lilies growing next to them are all fine.

I understand that I should pull up & destroy the infected bulbs...but, do I need to do something to the REMAINING SOIL to destroy the virus that might be residual in it, so that I can plant some NEW lily bulbs in the empty place this fall?

Thanks! :0) Phyl
