You have Tawny Daylilies, or Hemerocallis fulva, there. It's about the toughest perennial on the face of the earth, you don't need to provide any specialized care for them. You can divide them if you want to move some around and put them in other areas, but they don't need to be divided for their sake. They should start budding up to flower anytime soon in your zone, no reason to worry.

While beautiful, they can be weedy and invasive, and are also commonly known as "Ditch Lilies," since they easily and quickly colonize disturbed areas, such as roadside ditches. Looks like your lawnmower will be keeping them in check, though.

I'm new here, and new to gardening. We bought some oriental lilies for our front garden. They were doing fine for a long time, but now that it's gotten pretty warm (90s & humid), all of the blooms fell off and the leaves are turning yellow and then brown before also falling off. The stalks and leaves that are still green feel firm and healthy, and they have no spots or holes so I don't think it's disease.
Can someone help me figure out what is wrong with our lilies? We make sure they get enough water, as everything dries out quickly in this heat. (We live in the Austin area of Texas, by th way) Are they just stressed out from the sudden heat & humidity? Or do they go back to bulbs around this time of year? Any help appreciated! Thank you!
