Lilies only bloom once a year, cutting them back won't get you any more flowers. More importantly, the bulb needs all of those leaves to strengthen itself for next year. The only things you should cut off are any developing seed pods - they divert energy away from the bulb. Otherwise, just let it be until the leaves and stem die back on their own.
