| Hallson gardens is having a sale on lily bulbs so I got a few. He said its okay to plant now - has anyone planted bulbs this late? Any recomendations? I'm fairly new to lilys but really do love them.

| I did this many times. It is not so good for Lilies, but it still works. The blooming might be delayed this year. Lilies can even abort flowers if the temperature will be too high. They will grow normally next year. Chris sells excellent plants. You can not go wrong with them. I was tempted by this sale, but I have all varieties that are left. I bought some this spring at regular prices. They are about to bloom for me. Good luck! |
