Is it the Orienpet ORANIA ? (OT Orania) ??

That was my first hunch, too. Though I am definitely not as experienced with lilies as Ken is. I am waiting for our Oranias to bloom their first season as well. :0) Phyl

Thanks! I bought a bag of mixed Stargazer bulbs, and 3 out of 5 (so far) turned out to be these instead of 'Casa Blanca.' I'm pleasantly surprised though!

My Oranias are about to open. This is my first year as well. I will post a pic. About 3 or 4 more days.

Looking from the underside there are purple stripes.

Now I am not sure! There are no stripes whatsoever. Well whatever it is I love it. Yours is beautiful.

Jen - I have the exact same problem. Some bulbs bought at the flower show here that were supposedly Stargazers but apparently not: ;-)

They are extremely fragrant but are also blooming earlier than regular orientals (these were planted in the spring). Which makes me wonder if they are just leftover pollen parents for Stargazer - ie., some trumpet lily or maybe some random orienpet.
