Alas, there is nothing that I know of. Early in the season there were so many red lily beetles on my lilies - mating pairs and even some triple-deckers (kinky!). I have found that finding and squishing as many as possible in early spring is the best solution. I must have killed almost 50 or 60. But it is tedious, and annoying if you don't particularly like killing things to be part of the daily routine. Now, I have the odd one or two and the lilies are thriving despite a few holes here and there.

I was however interested to see this: some wasps seemed to be hovering around the lilies only and seemed to actually go into their nooks and crannies...I am hoping that maybe they might develop an appetite for these red critters. I wonder if anyone else has observed this??

I use Sevin which can bought at any big box store. I only have had to spray once this season and that so far has gotten rid of them. If you don't mind using pestacides then alot will kill the red lilly beatle. Just check the labels.
