Hi everyone,

I just joined this group as I'm a new gardener (since Spring 2008) and lilies are my favorite flowers, with irises running a close second. Last year, I was given some orange lily bulbs and they flowered this year which I was so happy to see. I would like to learn more about lilies and if possible, trade for some other colors with postage since as a new gardener, I don't have much to trade. I tried growing lilies from seed last year, but they never sprouted. I've since learned that growing from seed is very difficult to do, especially for new gardeners like myself.

I look forward to any tips you can provide in learning about and growing lilies.
