Striping/streaking on blooms

I just noticed that the blooms on one of the lilies I planted last fall is starting to become streaked and striped. Did I read that it could be due to a virus? The ones next to it are fine. It is an asiatic I got from John Scheepers, called Italia. It is beautiful (though doesn't really look like pictures I've seen of Italia), but do I have to get rid of the whole bulb to prevent other lilies from getting sick? Or do I spray some or all of the lilies with a fungicide? We've had lots of rain lately...anything to do with that? Thanks. Phyl

If it IS a virus, there's no treating it. But there are other diseases and bugs besides viruses that cause streaking. Why don't you post a photo and then perhaps someone will be able to help you.
