What do you grow in front of your tall lilies (in part shade)?

Love my fragrant lilies but they look a little stupid at 7 ft tall with nothing in front of them. Just wondering what people are growing in front of theirs, especially in part shade.

A carpet rose, several columbines, a couple small daylilies (Little Grapette), a hosta, a few astilbe. The tall lilies get more sun and shade the others in front.

Astrantia, daylilies, cranesbill geraniums, low growing aster, mums.
