I know what you mean! I like surprises too; I think I enjoy it even more when I donÂt know what I am getting. I traded for a lot of daylilies this year and watching those set buds has me much more excited than for the daylilies where I know what color will be where. Last year I bought a lot of asiatics on sale. I ran out of good places and ended up putting them here and there in other parts of the yard. Now I have lilies popping up and I have no idea what color they will be. I was going to label all my lilies but decided maybe I wonÂt: itÂs more fun to see a bud taking on a blush of color and wondering if that will be the pink one, the red one, etc. I found a raspberry colored one today and I have no memory of buying anything that color.
