I have some lilies I got on clearance in late May, some are just now blooming, others have no blooms. May depend on where you got them as to how mature the bulbs were, and the variety. I just got mine from local store, so they weren't as large as you might expect from a reputable nursery or catalog. I am not familiar with casa rosas, but I don't expect much from 1st season lilies. Since they came up, they be lovely next year.

Well I finally got buds on my Casa Rosa lily this year for the first time. Two great big buds. They look like purple hotdogs hanging at the top of the stem! They've been there for a week, but haven't opened yet. I hope they don't dry up and fall off.

A clump of Casa Rosa in bloom is a showstopper. Be patient. Casa Rosa is one that improves with age.
