Can I cut back my lilies now?

My Asiatics bloomed in May and the foliage is starting to look yellow and wilted. Will it hurt the plants if I cut them down to ground level now?

If the foliage is yellow then it's not feeding the bulb any longer and you can cut it back without shortchanging the bulb.
