Hi can you grow lillium in a big potof 15 inch and keep it there year after year i don't want to bring it in the house I want to leave it outside in the winter i live in quebec Anna lisa
If you bury the pot in the soil you can probably keep it there for a couple of years, IF it has excellent drainage. But you can't leave it in a pot above soil and have it survive in Quebec. Why don't you want to plant it?
In a couple of years it will outgrow the 15 inch pot and you'll need to plant it. I have a clump that is nearly a meter across. They spread ya' know.
Hi the reason is because i don't have any room in my flower garden and my hubby does not want me to rip up any more grass that y. I was wondering if i can plant them in pots after a year or 2 I would take them apart and give some away or trade them. I know they spread I grew one lsast year and it had 3 stem this year It has over 12 stems I wonder what going to happen next year i guess i have to take it apart in the fall Anna
