The only other color you might be able to find - probably by mail order from a specialty seller only - is Lilium Lancifolium var. "Flaviflorum" which is yellow with maroon spots.

They're Tiger Lilies but commonly called "Turk"s Cap" type.

Thanks for the info!! To bad from what I read that they'll take 3 seasons to bloom but as an aside, can I pot these into the ground once they sprout this season? My soil tends to be on the clayish side and I'm afraid they won't start up well on their own if I just let them alone?

They won't sprout this season - next season you'll see the first sprouts and they'll look like little blades of grass.

Also, they fall naturally around the parent plant and sprout there so they really don't need you to help them along. But you can pot them up just so you can keep track of them - put them just slightly under the soil - and bury the pot up to the rim somewhere in your garden and leave them alone for a couple of years. They're extremely cold hardy.

It's really best to plant them directly where you want them, though, since they'll be difficult to handle for a couple of years; easy to break the stem off the bulb in transplanting when they're tiny. Just mark the spot where they are so you don't accidentally pull them up, step on them or plant over them.
