Plant them in well drained soil. They'll take at least 3- 4 years to bloom.

I planted mine in a flat initially so they would not get lost in that jungle of mine then moved them when they were tall enough. If your garden is full of squirrels like mine, place chicken wire over the flat, hold it down with rocks or bricks.

They are very hardy. There is no need to take them indoors in winter. You can bury the flat in the ground too for insurance.

Have fun. Once you have enough established bulbs, you can just scatter bulblets around. They'll grow where they fall. :-)
