No computer bells and whistles so I can't post pictures. I'm not familiar with Gran Paradiso, but I've had Monte Negro for a few years now and it's one of my favorites. It's a dark red which doesn't seem to bleach out in the sun for me, and 3 feet tall. It's a pretty good multiplier so I'm getting a nice clump. There are lots of Google images.
I'll second duluthinbloomz comments. Large stand of 'Monte Negro' in one of our display gardens at the nursery (no I don't have a photo). Very upright to about 3', perhaps more, and a deep, rich, true scarlet red. I'm always asked for potted bulbs when these bloom, as they are a stunning presentation. Luckily this year I was able to get them in good quantity but sold out in a weekend!
Gran Paradiso is a very vibrant orange, stunning in a large clump. It reaches about 3 + feet in my garden. For me, Monte Negro rarely tops 3 ft. Both very nice lilies.
