Stargazer Lily

It has just started to open up, I have 3 buds on it, one has opened and is fine the other two have brown on some of the outside petals and seems to be deformed as they are opening. I had one on it last year that did the same thing. Is this a disease, fungus? Can someone tell me what to do to stop it. Thank-you Tricia

What you're describing is probably due to stress (drought, a first year bulb, etc.) rather than a virus. With our dry spring my Muscadet has a few "crispy" looking petals on it as well as some buds that are dried on one side (making them look "deformed").

If the foliage looks normal, its probably not a virus.
