Caring for Orienpet lilies

Hi

I have some Orienpet lilies I planted in a well amended bed about 3 years ago. Last year they were great! This year, they are just good. A lot shorter, and not as nice looking. I am wondering if I should add some amendments to them this fall. To this point all I have done is mulch them.

They are in full sun, my natural soil here is heavy black clay, with a neutral to alkaline ph.

Also, about 5 feet away I have some purple coneflowers planted, and when looking at them today, I think they have that virus where the blooms get all mishapen and such. Would this virus affect my lilies?

Thank you

Jenny P
