I buy from both of these highly respected growers and am very pleased with both. The bulbs I get from B&D are mostly 'premium' size and larger--never smaller. So, very happy there. But most important to me (where B&D excels) is bulbs are grown there and identity verified so you get what you order--no surprizes next spring! And, fall ordered bulbs are fresh dug--nice and solid. I also like that shipments from there to WI takes only 2 days. I've never had a problem or a bulb fail either. The fact that you mention these two sources tells me you might already know a lot about lilies; they are both premium sources.

Agreed with other posters, I've purchased from both.

Judith at The Lily Garden specializes in her own hybrids. While she offers lilies from other sources, she has an extensive breeding operation and her lilies are important additions to the lily world.

B & D grows all of their own stuff (I'm pretty sure) and they offer a lot of the new Dutch hybrids. I got the fabulous "Flashpoint" OT lily from them last year as well as Candy CLub and Baywatch.
