Lilium Longi florums Artificial Vernalization in the tropics

Hello all, new here.

I'm in the tropics where the average temperature year round is around 80-84 deg F.

I've just grown some imported Lilium Longiflorums (c.v White Fox) and intend to do artificial vernalization, since we do not have a cold spell here.

I will be digging up the bulbs when the time is right to put them into a special coldroom where the temp is kept constant 8 deg C (46 deg F) for 8 weeks.

Question is - when is the right time to dig them up, as in, how long (weeks, months?) after flowering does the plant take to build up sufficient energy to bloom a second time.

I believe that in the US, the plant will naturally die back from the increasing cold, but here, they are probably likely to stay perennial and not die back. Or am I mistaken?

Thanks in advance.

Mark.
