| Today while cleaning my garden I noticed that my spent flower stalks were full of aphids. Not just a few I mean every bit of area was covered and the leaves had started turning black. I cut them down to the ground to protect my roses and other plants, which are having a second flush with the cool weather in VA. The stalks were firm and looked healthy from the inside. Has anyone else had this problem and what should I do next year to protect them from this problem? |
