| Hello, Cardiocrinums grow at high elevations in the chinese provinces and in the himalayas. As long as the bulbs get a good mulch in winter, they are fully cold hardy. The only thing you have to watch is late frosts in spring, when the shoots are emerging. I grow them sucesfully in switzerland, where it can get quite cold in winter. They like half shade and dont like to dry out too much in summer. |
