White spider lily / crinum?

Just went to a plant sale and purchased a large bulb intact roots and with the leaves cut down to half. The guy showed me a picture...I've searched this forum but didn't find it. The flower is willowly and actually looks like a white spider. He said they were very popular around Halloween (of course) and he called it the white spider lily? Anyone have any suggestions as to where I could research this further?

Nell, you hit it on the button! I think it's hymenocallis caribaea! And he kept saying it was like an amaryllis and now I see why...it's the same family! Thanks for your help!
