Hi - I just received some lilies called 'blackberry''.
There are lots of little black balls on the ends-
where they flowered. They are just a tad larger than
beebees. If, I plant these little balls, will
lilies sprout??? Please advise me.
Thank you,so much! tina_2 |

| Try posting this on the perennials forum. These are not true lilies, plus there's more visitors on that forum so you're more likely to get a response. |

| The Iris forum would also be a good place, since blackberry "lilies" are actually a member of the Iris family. |

| Your "bee-bees" are seeds, and should sprout. I would hold them in the frig or in a cool part of the house until you are ready to plant them next spring, whenever that is for you. Use a paper envelope, as these sees hold a lot of moisture. Unless they are dried sufficiently, they will mold in a plastic bag. |
