Give it some time; that foliage will die down fairly soon. Mine are still green, but once they yellow and the leaves come off easily, they can be safely dug and replanted immediately.

When did you plant your 'Silk Road'? If you have several stems coming up, then there will be multiple bulbs to divide, but if you just have a single stem, you might not have/need to divide the bulb.

If you expect the ground to freeze before they die down, you can dig the entire plant with the green stem intact and transplant as a whole. Your best bet is to just let the lily die down naturally and as long as you can work the soil, you can lift and replant your lily!

I think I planted it 2 years ago. It was one stalk the first year, splitting into two this year. I thought I would split and replant them farther apart and add some organic material at the same time, then perhaps take off a few scales and try to grow those. I really love this lily, but can't afford to buy lots of them at the price they are, so I thought I'd try propagating them myself. They are showing no signs of even thinking about turning brown yet and in my zone, it will start to get colder and more miserable to garden soon. I'll have to weigh the misery factor against the more preferable waiting. Maybe I'll give them a couple more weeks, but that's about all I dare wait.
