I planted this as a bulb over 5 years ago, basically just shoving them into a pot where another plant was growing. About 3 years later, one bloomed. I did nothing except throwing water on the pot in the Summer since then. Whatever this is has made so many leaves that the other plant is long gone, and now in Nov it is suddenly blooming with open flowers, and more buds coming.

My indistinct memory is that it was called a "spider lily", but it does not resemble any picture I can find on the web of actual spider lilies. So, I am asking for help - does anyone know what this bulb might be? Is it blooming in Nov because it is really some sort of amarllyis? Is it making so many flowers now because it is crowded? I would like to find out how to take care of it - it is so pretty, and bulbs that bloom in November are valuable.
