No problem. Just don't let them be excessively wet over the winter. I store mine close to the house under the eaves. I buy lily bulbs in the fall, pot them and then sell in the spring. People buy and plant them in their garden. When you see potted lilies at garden centers in the spring they were most likely potted in the fall. Just slightly loosen the soil around the roots when you transfer to the garden. You may want to add a stake at thise time so they don't tip over as they won't have their roots into the new soil for a while.
