| How long does it usually take a oreintal seed to start to germinate? I had it planted for almost a month but I don't see any root. It's a cross between Star Gazer and a unknown white. Seed's were heavy and white. |

| Oriental seed has what is called delayed hypogeal germination. They'll need a warm period of about three months, followed by a cool period of about the same length before you'll see a leaf above ground. |
