Im trying to continually check this fourm for questions so i can answer them many we can bring this fourm back :)

Hi Michael, I would love to see more action here too. Last summer I picked up 3 stalks of some very sad looking bamboo and kept it in a vase for many months until I noticed in Dec. the roots were turning red and it was starting to die, SO I took the plunge and cut off the tops and put them into a glass with regular tap water and some rocks, she is doing fabulous, she's got some great roots growing and even a new leave I hope you can see in the photo. I'm so happy she's doing so well !!!

The roots turning red isnt bad they everntlly stay a nice red brown (but thoes tops look great)

All of the other types of house plants that have their own forums have a link at the top of the house plant forum, except this one.

Lucky Bamboo: Marooned in Gardenweb Cyberspace. :( Too bad. It's a nice plant and is fairly popular right now.
