LB Dying HELP!!

My LB has turned yellow from the bottom up I recently transfered it from a bottle to a big Jar I had to break the bottle to get it out and I think it may have damaged it a bit im not sure what to do i've never taken care of bamboo before and my mother in law gave it to me so please help.

Are the leaves yellow or the stem also? If the leaves are yellow, that is ok. If the stem is turning yellow, that can be more difficult.
