Water for Lucky bamboo

In the forum, it was mentioned that we need to put distilled water for the bamboo to prevent it from becoming yellow.. Is it the one that we use in the batteries. Where do we get this water, pls suggest.

I have always used spring water in mine and have never had any problems. I have done it that way for years.
