Okay, I got 3 Lucky bamboo cuttings sale from my local market each about 1 meter tall, no roots just cuttings. The worker told me to re cut the end to make a new face for roots to grow after i got it home, so i did. I put it in water and a little less than recommended of supergreen bamboo fertilizer, It had been a week and a half and its wilting and the bottom leaves are starting to yellow then brown, my guess is that its robbing those leaves of nutrients to thrive, then again i did put in some fertilizer so it shouldn't feel the need to steal nutrients from its own leaves.... hmm please help? haha .

My question is how long until a bamboo this size takes root? also are those bottom leaves supposed to yellow or die back?
