Thought I would share with you pictures of a j. maple that I received as a fresh graft. I got it last spring as a new graft and it did well in a pot. I then planted in the fall and despite 2 months of drought (this spring an summer) and 90 degrees + temps, once the weather broke it still pushed 12-18 inches of new growth in the last 3 weeks in full sun (western exposure, 8 hrs. direct sun per day).
