Seedlings are fun exciting and thrifty to collect.

My feelings exactly!
This year, I plan to collect a few more seedlings for my friends.

the maple grew to a decent height and developed a nice color!

Josh, shame on you for getting me sooooo excited about planting my own maple seedlings with this post. I should have stuck with the Hosta Forum, but now I'm soooo hot about this I can't wait to get home. You are a bad influence. God love ya.

You should see the maple now....lots of leaves, and flopped over from all the rain!

So, after a bit of asking around the Bonsai forum, I'm thinking that this seedling
might be an Amur maple - Acer ginnala. I'll be collecting a few more of these over the
next month and a half.

It looks like my trident seedlings.

I have a acer ginnala and the leaves have a subtle difference.

I will try and take some pictures for you.
