I have a 4 foot tall burgundy lace that was damaged by my dogs and had three of its lower branches severed off, it has not broke dormancy yet, it has a little fuzz around teh buds but that is it, my other trees have already leafed out, the tissue under the bark is light brown but not dry, do you guys think it might be dead? I hope not, how much longer should i wait for it to leaf out to assume it is gone?
