Bright red leaves on Red Maple

I have a large red maple in my front yard, and this year I found a small clump of leaves that is BRIGHT red, whereas the majority of the tree is the typical dark red, almost eggplant color. This clump happens to have a pair of seeds on it which are also different in color (more reddish) than the rest of the seeds on the tree. I've never seen this before, but I'm wondering if this is relatively common, or something more unusual.

I guess my biggest question is, if I plant those seeds, what are the odds that the resulting tree (assuming it actually grows) would have all red leaves like the ones by the seeds? And, if you think it's even worth a shot, what would be the best method of attempting to get the seeds to grow? They are still on the tree right now, but I did mark them so I can find them when they fall.
