I know, I know this is the maple forum. But because many Japanese maples, a popular interest on this board, are often sold at specialty nurseries that carry other hard-to-find products, I was hoping that a fellow J. maple aficionado might have seen a contorted purple beech at some specialty mail-order nursery. I have not been able to find this tree at any local (Colorado) nursery. Thanks much!
