helicopter seeds

Hi, We moved into a new house last fall and knew there was a very large tree overhanging our driveway, part of our roof, and our front shrubs. It's the neighbor's tree and 80% of the tree overhangs our property. It is currently in the process of dropping MILLIONS of those helicopter seeds. We have been sweeping, sweeping, sweeping for days. Does anyone know if you can blow them out of the mulch beds with a leaf-blower? I'll go out and get one if it might work. Our mulch looks awful with all those seeds all over it. Thanks.

it depends on what kind of mulch you have. I guess most wood/bark mulch would be blowed around

Thanks. Does anyone know if these things drop heavier some years than others? Could this be an exceptionally bad year? We are getting BURIED in them. Our own fault I guess - we never thought too much about the droppings.

redhighlander, I think its time to meet the neighbors. Maybe they will be understanding and help out in some way. You having 80% of there tree doesnt fly in my book. Maybe a joint effort could be reached.
