This is my first spring with the plant. After your question I read the Yuri Hime photo thread on UBC maples forum. Perhaps mine isn't the true cultivar. Seems like a bit of confusion with some of the 'hime' selections.

Fantastic photos Keith! The 'Kasagi Yama' is especially stunning. I think mjsee may be right about your 'Yuri Hime'. I've seen it listed a bunch of places recently, but none of the pics match what I believe is the true cultivar, otherwise I'd pic up another one as it is easily in my top five favorites. Here's a pic of mine, it's 10-12 years old and 21" inches high by 32" wide. If you graft, and need scions let me know.

P.S. looks like I've got to get the gold creeping Jenny under control :)

thanks for the photo. beautiful plant. looks like I will need to change the tag to 'unknown' on mine.

I do graft and I have a bunch of rootstock for the winter.

I would gladly take some scion and would return a couple of the finished grafts to you.
