| The Freeman Autumn Blaze was suggested to me as a maple, and after looking it up it looks beautiful and would fit the bill as a fast growing maple (need to eventually develop a large shade tree in my yard).
It says this is a hybrid between a silver maple and a red maple- does anyone know if it has the same weak branch issues as a silver maple? We have one right across our property line in the next yard and every time there is even a bit of wind I have to go out and pick up branches all over the place. |

| 'Jeffersred' has been an extraordinarily successful cultivar, I wouldn't expect your new tree to be an unusual bother. |
