| i recently bought my first house. i had ten sunset red maples delivered (bare root). i had to put them into makeshift buckets until i could get them in the ground, which was about 3 weeks.
here are my conditions: extremely shallow hard pack--used auger to bust through and plant
please help. |

| Hello adamdowning, Wow, that's some packed and hard dirt you must have. Worst we get around here are the new construction lots with rocks and concrete debris in them. What's going on to cause you to say they haven't taken root? Are they not growing leaves? Or are they blowing all over the place in the wind and will need staked? Oh, and also how big a bare root fellas are these? |
