Acer saccharum 'Newton Sentry'
Hello, I have been doing a ton of research to find a very architectural tree for a very formal landscape design. I am looking for a super-tight and very narrow columnar tree. All my research points to the perfect tree....Newton Sentry Sugar Maple. Problem is.....it seems no one is currently cultivating this tree. Temple's upright or Armstrong are not nearly as narrow. Can anyone out there point me to someone that can supply me with a few of these, or.....suggest a cultivar of tree (any genus) that is as narrow (like 40' tall by 6' wide) and will grow in zone 5b. Thanks!
