Small brownish black spots on trident maple

Is it too early for signs of anthracnose or tar spots on maple leaves? I have a trident maple showing those signs and a sugar maple with small yellowish brown spots on it. Healthy full leaves and seeing spots only on the lower half. Should I be concerned?

Well, how are we suppose to know whether or not it's to early for diseases of your maple if we don't know how old the maple is? Also, a picture would be useful. Please be more specific. Thanks.
