| I planted 2 autumn blaze maples earlier this year. As they put out pretty new growth, it dies before it has a chance to grow on out. The established leaves look fine. We haven't had any rain for over a month here. I have watered them every few days. I am wondering if they are getting enough water. |

| It sounds like they are suffering in the heat and drought. They may recover and do better once established. Make sure the soil ball is staying moist from your hose watering. Stick your finger in there. |
